David Havens, age 70, of Ames, Iowa died September 15th at Israel Family Hospice House. No services are being planned at this time.
David was born on September 11, 1943 in Fort Worth, Texas to Billy and Pearl Havens. He married Charlene Ness on July 14, 1979 in Marshalltown, Iowa.
David is survived by his wife; Charlene, Children; James Schlesky, Kevin (Connie) Schlesky, Lorraine (Tim) Peterson, Myra Schlesky, Nathan (Christy) Parker, and Hugh Parker. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and his sister; Carolyn Guerrero.
Memorials may be directed to Ames Emergency Residence Project 225 South Kellogg Ave. Ames, Iowa.
