Linda,I was so sorry to hear you lost your mother. She was a great lady. I remember your slumber party way back when we were in high school. What a brave women she was to let us crazy high schoolers have a slumber party! Then many years later Curt and I got to enjoy your Mom and Kenny playing golf with them at the Oaks Golf course Monday and Friday night leagues. She was always positive and fun to play with. We truly enjoyed the nights we played with them. I will always remember your Mom fondly. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and all your family.
Laurene was a true friend of mine for a long number of years. May she rest in peace. Dave Thompson
I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you and your family. Rita Eble
Jerry & Family: I'm very sorry to hear of your loss. My deepest sympathy.
Laurene was always kind and supportive of me as the wife of her nephew Mike, and a non-Davis. She gave me a sympathetic ear when I needed it most, and fed all of us with her fabulous goodies, especially her pies! She and Kenny always cared for Mike's parents, (Kenny's sister & husband) next door, since Mike and I lived far away, and did so with love, generosity and devotion as long as they lived. We can never truly express our gratitude for all they did.
My love to Laurene's family, and gratitude for the blessing she was to me (and to Mike)❣️
I worked with Laurene at ISU Student Health for years. She was a wonderful, kind and caring woman. So efficient in making appointments. Memories of her are wonderful. May she RIP, and prayers and sympathy to her family members.
