She was a member of the White Shrine of Ames where she was Royal Matron in 1971. Bessie went on to be the Grand Royal Matron of Iowa followed by Grand Treasurer of Iowa in 1983. She also enjoyed Amaranth. She met many people in the state of Iowa as well as other states. Bessie enjoyed good health until her first surgery at the age of 90. She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church for over 50 years.
She leaves to mourn her passing Karen Keech; grandchildren, Julie, Kevin and his wife, Diana, and Kent and his wife, Karen; great-grandchildren, Levi and Mariah; and the Duane Goodmanson family; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Louie A Sinn in 1968; adopted son, Richard Keech in 2008; two brothers, Wesley Taylor and Lee Taylor; and two sisters, Erma Ford and Flossie Cummings.
