I'm so, so sad to hear this news. Kevin was certainly the most popular guy in Gilbert High School's Class of 1972. He was smart and fun and all-inclusive. I remember the hay-rides at the end of school- years, out at the Peterson Family Farm. Kevin always had a great smile and tremendous enthusiasm for life!! (Paula Buck)

We were very saddened to hear of your family’s deep and shocking loss. We send our condolences to Kevin’s wife, children, and grandchildren, to you Alpharetta, and all of his siblings, nieces, nephews, and friends. I was a year behind Kevin at Gilbert. My sister Jeannine was in Terri’s class, our brother Dave a ‘67 graduate of Gilbert, also. We lost Dave 12 years ago, so we know the shock and pain of losing a sibling and for my dad, losing a child. Lyle and I along with our kids will be in New York at the 911 Memorial and unable to attend KP’s formal Celebration of Life. As we had honor the 911 First Responders we will definitely be thinking about KP and the shared times at the Ames Fire Department, the Rubber Knife Gang trips and all the times we shared together. He was a special guy and we are sorry to miss the celebration. We will continue use to pray for the family as they deal with this tragic event. Lyle and Pam
