Todd L. Richardson passed away October 27, 2018 at Mary Greeley Medical center. A full military service will be held on Friday, November 9 at 10:45 a.m. at the Van Meter Cemetery, a church service will be held at 1 p.m. at the Slater United Methodist Church, Pastor Emily Peasley officiating.
He was born June 19, 1954 in Watseka, IL to Loren and Rose (Lewis) Richardson. He served in the US Army from 1971 - 1973 and was a Vietnam veteran. He married, Tana L. Butler-Richardson on April 21, 2012.
He was preceded in death by his father, Loren and an infant son, Richard.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Tana; mother, Rose of Illinois; children, Gladys, Anna, Todd II, Michael, and Joseph, all of Missouri. Thomas, of Illinois. Stepchildren James White of Missouri, Thomas Jackson of Iowa, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His brother, John Richardson, and sister Gayle Belcher of Texas; brothers Bill, Tim (Fred) and Greg, and sister Becky Black all of Illinois and sister Tracey of North Carolina.
Grandon Funeral Home of Ames has been entrusted with the care of Todd and his family.
