Possibly the greatest tribute you can make to a person is to say they had a positive influence on your life. I would like to say that about "mom" Lampe (HMLB). I was one of her boys at Iowa State. Always quick and spunky with wit or sarcasm Mom Lampe handled everything life sent to her. She taught manners and how to behave but never failed to be a friend to those around her. I will remember Liz for the times of stealing dinner from the pledges and many trips Sunday morning to church. She was indeed a diamond in disguise. I was privileged to live with her for four years.
Namo Amituofo, I met Liz when I moved into my apartment 5 years ago fresh from NYC and my first place since leaving my temple. She has been my happy meeting friend, meeting in the halls, elevators, outdoors walking her little puppy Annie (Annibelle) if I remember her puppy's name right. Ready smiles and such a happy person! Always asking after my daughter and complimenting her on prom and all her dance dresses. My best to her in heaven and her family left behind, may they all be well and happy and at peace.
I have fond memories of Liz at the fraternity house when I would stay overnight with Sandy. The thing I remember most about Liz is that she was always happy and the beautiful smile on her face. She had a long life filled with lots of love from her family.
