Weldon may not have remembered me, but I remember him from my student days on the Memorial Union Board of Directors, and the many times our paths crossed on campus since then. He was one of our "Mr. ISUs", to be sure, and a life to celebrate.
Weldon, you were a good influence in our life. We will always remember you in our prayers.
Weldon was the brightest mind I ever knew. He loved politics and understood it completely. He was proud of his wife and children and loved "argumentative debate". I was happy to be his friend.
Weldon was a true gentleman in every sense of the word. He will be missed.
History will remember Weldon as a constant and dedicated advocate of Iowa State.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Jean.
