Idelles (Jean) Erickson age 87, died June 22, 2011 in Edina, Minnesota, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri. A 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be Monday, June 27th at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kelley, Iowa with a gathering of friends and family one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be at Bethany Lutheran Church Cemetery in rural Kelley.

Idelles was born on November 18, 1923, in Kenyon, Minnesota the daughter of Lewis B. and Minnie (Munson) Erickson. She graduated from Slater High School in 1941. She moved to Kansas City where she worked for over 30 years for the Veterans Administration in Kansas City. Idelles lived in the area over 60 years before she moved to Edina because of failing health, to be closer to her sister Ramona. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and Scandinavian Women's Society of Kansas City. Idelles enjoyed antiquing and coming to Iowa to be with relatives.

Idelles (Jean) is survived by her sisters, Ramona Tokheim of Edina, Minnesota; Betty Anderson of Mankato, Minnesota; Patricia Crosley of Park Rapids, Minnesota; and many nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and six sisters.
