Deb:
We can not express how saddened we were to hear of John's death. He was one of the most sincere, kind person we could have ever known. He will be greatly missed by many.
My love of racing came from my Uncle Johnny. 07 lives on in his memory. I will always remember his tricks he played on me and his smile.
I have great memories of Uncle Johnny from my childhood years. I loved going to the stock car races with Grandpa Richardson and watching Uncle Johnny race. I will always remember his gentle nature, raspy voice, and the way he snickered when he laughed. He was such a good man.
My first memory of Johnny, the name we called him at that time, was at Grandma and Grandpa Glass's house.
We were all gathered around their kitchen table talking about whatever. He had just gotten out of the service and we were talking about that also. John and his brother Larry were always working on cars. Either for
racing or for transportation.
May he rest in peace.
