THEODORE LEE (TED) MINEAR

Ted, 86, of Nevada went to be with his Lord on Thursday, November 24, 2011 at Israel Family Hospice
House in Ames, Iowa.

Ted was born November 10, 1925, in Maxwell, to Harley and Hester (McConnell) Minear. He married
Kathleen (Clark) on June 30, 1946. Ted served in the US Army Reserves and the US Navy. He was a medic on the USS Rescue during WWII. He was a barber in Maxwell for many years and a school bus driver and custodian for the Maxwell School. His real passion was driving a semi and did so until he was 84 years old.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen and 3 children, Gary (Dixie) Minear, Deb (Paul) Ness all of Maxwell and Theodore R. Minear of Melbourne, Florida; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and one sister Helen Padellford.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley and Hester, and one son, David Lee Minear.
Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care assisted the family.
