Rhonda, I remember your mother organizing caroling parties, and generally being a good egg about the invasion of teenage girls. I hope you have many, many warm memories to comfort you.
Was so sorry of hear of Holly's death this morning. I had not done a very good job of keeping in touch over the past few months, so didn't realize she had been ill. The community at Pine Lake was never the same after she moved to Ames....that, and with the loss of the other good neighbors - Stan Clemens and Eric Brasch. We had some great times at The Pines and I'll miss her. Your families are in my thoughts and prayers.
so sorry to hear about the passing of your mother. Your mom and dad were great neighbors at Eldora. Wishing you our best during this sad time.
Rhonda and David and family, I am so very sorry for your loss of your beloved Mother. My prayers and thoughts are with you as you go through these rough waters. I grew up in Marshalltown and remember well all the fun we had together as kids and teenagers. I know this is very hard on you all and I know God will give you strength during this difficult time.K
grew up with th3 presnall family.
great people. rose and frank foitle were my parents
Ronda, I remember Holly from our high school years. She was one of my "other" mothers! I think she liked it when we teased her. Wish I could do something to help you during this time.
You were a spunky and loving Grandma. I will miss you! I am so thankful that I had you for a grandmother!
Ronda, David, and families, you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know you are hurting, having lost the dear mom you were so lucky to have all these years. May all the happy memories sustain you and yours through this most difficult time. I remember Holly for being a good, lifelong friend of my mom, and for always being happy, with a smile, and with a great laugh. Now she's sharing all that with your dad and others again. Bless you all.
David and Ronda, So sorry to hear that your mom has left you. But she has joined your dad again. She was such a good friend to our mom, I'll bet they are already having 'coffee' and chatting about old times.
So sorry to hear of the loss of a very dear friend. Holly has been my close friend all through high school and throughout our mature years also. Even though we were not able to get together often we still remained very close friends and I will miss her so much. My loving wishes go out to the family and loved ones, and I pray for God's loving arms to uphold you through this difficult time in your lives. Love you very much.
